Every direction offers panoramic views that continuously enthrall. Each day brings new sights to behold. To the north, your eyes meet the majestic Ida Mountains. Meanwhile, the expansive Messara Plain stretches out to the east.
Lastly, to the west, the Mediterranean Sea lies in wait. Every evening, the sun descends into its depths, setting the waters alight with a fiery red blaze. It’s a spectacle that never ceases to amaze.

Perched on a hill above Pitsidia, you’ll find the villa. This small, picturesque village nestles within the Messara plain, a captivating lowland region in the southern part of Crete, Greece.
Situated roughly 45 kilometers south of Heraklion city, this area is part of the same-named regional district. Among its notable settlements, Mires stands out, boasting approximately 6500 residents. In addition, Tymbaki is another one of the largest towns within this district
The house is located in the south of the island, in the Messara plain, about an hour away from Heraklion airport. Feel free to ask us about taxi drivers, we would be happy to recommend a reliable one to you.
The nearest airport is Heraklion, which is approximately a one-hour drive away. A bit further is Chania airport, with a drive time of roughly 2-3 hours; both airports receive flights from most European cities.
If you wish to rent a car upon arrival, you have the option to hire one at the respective airports. Do not hesitate to inquire further, as we are more than happy to recommend a reliable provider.
If you are planning to arrive with your own car, van, etc., there are ferries available from Athens to Heraklion. We have experience with this as well, so feel free to ask us for information.
